The Fundraising, Marketing & Sponsorship Sub-Committee is established by the Mfantsipim 150th Anniversary Planning Committee to lead all activities related to fundraising, branding, sponsorship acquisition, and public engagement for the celebrations. Its main objectives are to raise awareness and excitement, secure funding, build a strong brand identity, and foster long-term stakeholder relationships.

The sub-committee’s scope includes the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy across media platforms; planning and executing fundraising campaigns and donor events; building and managing corporate and alumni sponsorships; and creating a unified brand identity for the anniversary. It is also responsible for maintaining the anniversary website and social media platforms, and for coordinating efforts with other sub-committees.

Membership should ideally include no more than five individuals with alumni or professional backgrounds in marketing, sponsorship, fundraising, and branding—though additional members may be co-opted when needed.

The sub-committee will prepare and implement plans before the official launch, maintain campaigns before and after the launch, and review progress post-November 2026. It will require access to school data, dedicated budgetary resources, and strong collaboration with the MOBA Secretariat and other committees.
